Starting conditions
Children's ideas about the surrounding reality are changing very quickly. Almost every boy dreams of becoming a soldier or policeman, pilot or sailor. Experiences of a fast-flowing life make their own adjustments to these projects. Andrei Gennadievich Gulnev was born on June 22, 1982 in an ordinary Soviet family. The older brother Dmitry was already growing up in the house. Parents lived in the famous town of Lodeynoye Pole, Leningrad Region. My father worked on the railroad. Mother worked as a literature teacher at a local school.
From an early age, the future theater and film actor was distinguished by observation, good memory and a cheerful disposition. At school, Andrei studied well, although he did not have enough stars from the sky. He willingly went in for sports. But he did not participate in amateur performances. Meanwhile, the elder brother attended classes at the Theater Studio and at home animatedly shared his impressions of what was happening on the stage. The child listened with delight and asked to be recorded in the studio too. Such a moment came and Gulnev Jr. performed his first role in the New Year's performance. Professional activity
When the time came to choose a profession, Gulnev had no doubts. He firmly decided to get a specialized education at the theater institute. After graduating from school in 1999, full of confidence and strength, Andrei went to study in Moscow. However, he was not accepted into any university. Returning to his hometown, Gulnev successfully passed a creative competition at the local institute of theatrical art. In the introductory screenings, he had to portray a ballerina and a cockroach. The selection committee remained completely satisfied with what they saw.
In 2003, Gulnev received a diploma and entered the service at the St. Petersburg Theater "Saturday". Actors and directors gathered within the walls of this temple of Melpomene, with new ideas and projects. Andrei without the slightest effort fit into the creative team. After a short period of time, they began to trust him with the main roles in both classical and avant-garde performances. An acting career was developing quite favorably for Gulnev. He is regularly invited to the cinema. As a student, he appeared on the screen in the films "War" and "The Golden Bullet Agency".
Prospects and personal life
For fifteen years, Gulnev has been on the stage of his home theater "Saturday". For the acting community, this is a rare fact. It's no secret that many actors, as they say, wander from one troupe to another.
The same stability is observed in the personal life of a popular artist. For many years he has been legally married to actress Valentina Lebedeva. They not only live, but also go on stage together. The husband and wife are raising two children - a son and a daughter.
