This rule applies to annual voluntary medical insurance contracts, CASCO and OSAGO policies, accident insurance, property insurance (both legal entities and individuals). In this case, you will be offered to fill out an application and draw up a new contract for a whole year. Think about how long you need to extend the insurance contract if you entered into it to perform any specific work, but this procedure was delayed. For example, you have entered into an insurance policy for goods traveling from Europe to Moscow, the term of the contract is 2 weeks. The cargo is stuck at customs and cannot be delivered within the agreed time frame to the destination. In this case, write a letter on the organization's letterhead with a request to renew (roll over) the current insurance policy. Based on this letter, the insurance company will draw up an additional agreement to the contract, which must be signed by both parties. According to the same principle, the extension of insurance contracts for construction and installation risks is carried out if the work cannot be completed on time.
