Modular paintings are an interesting and unusual solution for any interior. They look especially good in minimalistic interiors, as they create a bright accent.
A modular picture is a picture consisting of two or more parts (modules), which are located at some distance from each other, that is, the integral image is, as it were, interrupted. Depending on the number of modules, paintings are subdivided into diptychs, triptychs, polyptychs. The background is usually left white, although this depends on the colors used in the painting.
Such paintings are made in art studios. Typically, this is a print on canvas or other material. You can paint the printed picture with oil, acrylic paints, textured gels, or just paint, but it will cost much more.
Reproductions of modernists and impressionists are very popular as modular paintings. Black and white retouched photographs, complemented by bright color accents, look interesting. Do not choose pictures that are too colorful, as well as with small patterns, since the division into modules is already an additional effect in itself. An excellent solution would be monochrome paintings or with large objects.
Modular paintings will be a great decoration not only for the home, but also for the office or beauty salon.
