A family

Alsu Safina was born in June 1983 in the Tatar USSR. Her father, Ralif Safin, was already a very influential person, businessman, politician, and vice president of Lukoil. Alsou's mother, Razia Safina, is an architect by education. Alsou has three brothers - Ruslan Safin, Marat Safin (not to be confused with the famous tennis player, his namesake) and Renard Safin. All three brothers are successful in business.

Alsou has two citizenships - Russian and British.

Creative way

Alsou began to sing on the big stage at the age of fifteen. Her first hits were "Sometimes" and "Winter Dream", they are still the singer's calling card. In 1999, the singer recorded her debut album entitled "Alsou". Alsou toured the country a lot to present the album, and it turned out to be very successful. Alsou's songs were heard from almost every market stall. The debut album was reissued twice - in 2001 and in 2002.

In 2000, Alsou represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest and took second place there. At that time, this was the highest achievement of Russia in this competition. Alsou sang the song "Solo" and performed it at a fairly decent level.

After winning Eurovision, Alsou began working on an English-language album, which was recorded in many European countries. The disc turned out to be of sufficient quality and was warmly received in European and Asian countries. The artistic director of the singer at that time was Vadim Baykov.

In 2002, Alsou decided to record a second Russian-language album. He was given the unusual name "19". This album turned out to be less successful than the first, but still had its own listener. Alsou was still popular in Russia.

A sad fate befell the second English-language album Alsou. The singer did not manage to record it due to the refusal of the recording studios.

In 2006, Alsou got married and took up the family closely. In between the birth of children, Alsou recorded an album of Tatar and Bashkir folk music. And in 2012 a new album of lullabies was released.

Alsou continues to create to this day, but critics have a peculiar opinion of her work. They notice that Alsou has ceased to develop as a vocalist, and the quality of her songs has noticeably decreased. Probably, Alsou just matured, and other priorities appeared in her life.

Personal life

In 2006, Alsou married businessman Yan Rafaelevich Abramov, the son of a famous banker. The husband is six years older than the singer.

The wedding was gorgeous, the marriage certificate was presented to the young by the mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov. Gifts for the wedding were a luxurious mansion in the Moscow region and a Bentley car.

In the marriage, the couple had three children - daughter Safina (2006), daughter Mikella (2008) and son Raphael (2016). Alsou gave birth in elite clinics in the USA and Israel.
