Oksana Pochepa was born on July 20, 1984 in the warm and sunny city of Rostov-on-Don. At that time, the family already had a child - Oksana's older brother Mikhail. The girl's father, Alexander, dreamed of realizing non-embodied dreams about the stage through his daughter. Moreover, since childhood, Oksana had a noticeable love for public speaking and music. When she was seven years old, along with a regular school, she began attending the Rimsky-Korsakov Music School. In addition to music education, the parents paid attention to the girl's physical development. Oksana was engaged in sports acrobatics. Despite the fact that Oksana Pochepa from an early age actively participated in the amateur performances of the kindergarten, school, studied music and publicly spoke, building a professional musical career was facilitated by the case.

In 1998, Andrei Baskakov, a local radio DJ, announced the recruitment of girls for a new musical project called "Youngsters". 14-year-old Oksana went to the casting to support her friend who decided to try her hand. Despite this, the young girl was still noticed and asked to sing. Andrey was amazed at the sonority of the young performer's voice and approved Oksana as the soloist of the group. "Youngsters" have become popular far beyond Rostov-on-Don. The very young Oksana performed on the same stage with such stars of that time as Legalize, Decl and became a style icon for many teenagers.

In 2000, she received an offer from Sergei Zhukov, the lead singer of the "Hands Up" group, to act as a solo performer. Oksana had to make a choice between continuing her studies and a career as a singer. And love for the stage and singing won. Since then, Oksana Pochepa began performing under the pseudonym Akula, a deliberate producer, and the songs "Acid DJ", "I run away", "Flocks of birds", "Love" sounded on popular radio stations and music channels. In 2003, the girl went on a tour of America and remained there for three whole years, and in 2006 she returned to Russia with a new album "Such Love".

Soon a new stage in the singer's work begins. Leaving producer Sergei Zhukov, Oksana Pochepa will release solo albums "Shark" (2010) and "Star" (2014). In 2015, the singles "Farewell Berlin" and "Melodrama" will be released, and later the songs "Girlfriend" (2016) and "Bride" (2018) will be written.

Oksana Pochepa continues her independent solo career, never ceasing to delight fans of her work with new songs.

Singer Shark treat public people open to communication. However, she is still reluctant to share the details of her personal life. It is known that it was the relationship with a man named Tim, who was older than Oksana, that made her stay in the United States. In addition to the novel, they were connected by work. They founded the TIMAX record company, and after parting, they remained friends and companions.

In 2009, she was credited with a holiday romance with Mel Gibson, which was believed to be the cause of the breakup of his family relationship, which lasted about 20 years. Oksana, in an interview, denied this information. Whether this is true, rumors or some kind of PR move is unknown. One thing is clear, a talented, charismatic girl with a bright appearance, of course, is not without attention from the opposite sex.
