Tom Felton is a British actor who became famous thanks to the character of Draco Malfoy, one of Harry Potter's enemies, in a series of books of the same name. After completing the filming of the famous story, he hesitated for some time, but still continued his career in the film industry.
Biography and acting career
Thomas Andrew Felton was born in 1987 in the capital of Great Britain - London. He became the fourth and youngest of the Felton brothers. From childhood, he showed interest in the stage, but at first he was attracted exclusively by music. He sang in the church choir while attending junior school at Cranmore School. Later he participated in other musical ensembles. The young man graduated from high school in Surrey.
At the age of 10, Tom Felton, thanks to a friend of his parents, got one of the main roles in the comedy film "Thieves". Until the age of 14, he played minor roles in little-known films and TV shows, but in 1997 he attended a casting that turned his life and career upside down. He took part in auditions for the role of Harry Potter in the film adaptation of the books of the same name. He was not taken on the main role, but the negative character Draco Malfoy liked the young actor even more. It is noteworthy that Tom Felton did not read any of J. K. Rowling's books either before or after filming.
The adaptation of the books brought Tom worldwide fame and many fans. There were, of course, those who took the story of The Boy Who Lived too seriously and openly hated the young actor. Thomas Felton always referred to himself as a simple, country boy. He loves silence, nature and fishing. In 2006, he even went to university to study fishing, and wanted to give up his career in the film industry altogether. Over time, his decision changed.
In 2008, the famous actor shared his first music collection with the world. The songs did not become popular around the world, but sold well to fans. He launched his YouTube channel, where he performed his own songs with a guitar.
During the filming of "Harry Potter" the actress who played the main female role in the film, Emma Watson, fell in love with the young actor. She admitted more than once that Felton was her first childhood love, but the actors never started dating. Since 2008, Tom Felton has been in a relationship with Jade Gordon, who played his wife in the last part of the film.
