Biography
Victoria Tolstoganova was born in 1972 in Moscow and was brought up in an intelligent Soviet family with three younger sisters. Unlike other girls in the family who are fond of playing musical instruments, Vika preferred to sing and especially loved to perform songs by Alla Pugacheva. In her school years, she began to attend the drama club, and after graduation - the Moscow Art Theater School, after which she caught fire to become an actress.
The girl stubbornly comprehended the basics of the desired profession, several times trying to get into GITIS. Finally, she succeeded, but Victoria decided not to stop there. She continued her studies at VGIK in the workshop of the famous Joseph Kheifits. All this made Tolstoganova an unusually experienced and talented artist in all aspects. As a student, she began work at the Moscow Stanislavsky Theater, where she performed until the mid-2000s.
In the mid-1990s, Victoria Tolstoganova starred in a movie for the first time, but her first roles were insignificant. For more than fourteen years, Victoria Tolstoganova was married to theater and film actor Andrei Kuzichev. They have a son, Fedor, and a daughter, Varvara. The couple broke up in 2011 when Victoria entered into a relationship with theater director Alexei Agranovich. They are currently raising a son. For the rest, the actress prefers not to disclose the details of her personal life.
Victoria Tolstoganova is a frequent guest and judge at major Russian film festivals. She received this honor as the owner of many awards for her contribution to Russian cinema.
