Biography

Mikhail Trukhin was born in 1971 in Petrozavodsk. He was a very active child, loved sports, and at times he was even caught for hooliganism from teachers. Misha also fell in love with the theater early and did not miss the opportunity to perform on the school stage. And yet he failed to enter the coveted Institute of Culture. Mikhail got a job at the Alexandrinsky Theater and began to independently master all the subtleties of the profession.

After a while, Mikhail Trukhin managed to enter LGITMIK, after which his theatrical career quickly went up. The actor began to offer more significant roles, for one of which he even received the Golden Mask award. In 1991, he starred in the little-known film Cynics and then continued on stage until, in 1997, he was called to the cast of the television series Streets of Broken Lanterns.

The series, also popularly known as "Cops", became one of the first projects about the work of criminal investigation officers on Russian television and found high popularity among viewers. Trukhin got the role of the young opera Slava Volkov. The character stood out against the background of the more mature and experienced employees of the St. Petersburg police, but it was this that helped him become the idol of the young fans of the series, who dreamed of a dangerous but interesting service.

Trukhin was perfectly suited for the roles of ordinary people with a heightened sense of humor, which is why he got used to the familiar image of a Criminal Investigator in the series "Deadly Force", as well as a nurse in the "Doctor Tyrsa" project. In 2010, the actor was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the country. However, he remained faithful to the role of Volkov's opera in Streets of Broken Lanterns until 2014.

Personal life

Mikhail Trukhin first married during his student years, and his classmate Lyubov Yeltsova became his wife. Later they worked together in the theater "On Liteiny", and also became the parents of two children - Yegor and Daria. Alas, the marriage began to fall apart and gradually ended in divorce.

After a while Trukhin married his new wife Anna Nestertsova, who is much younger than the actor. They had a daughter, Sonya. Currently, the couple live quite happily and do not plan to leave.

Mikhail Trukhin is very fond of St. Petersburg, which has actually become his second hometown.
