early years
The girl was born in Sweden in the spring of 1981. Hannah has an older sister, Sarah, who also became a famous theater and film actress in Sweden.
Already at an early age, the girls showed acting abilities. Therefore, the parents decided to send their daughters to a theater studio. There they studied under the guidance of the famous director Maggie Widstrand, and soon got their first roles in the performances of the Youth Theater.
At the age of six, Hannah played in a play based on the play by S. Gettestam "Borderlands". She perfectly performed her role, and soon, as part of a youth troupe, she began touring the country.
A year later, Hannah was invited to perform on the stage of the Swedish National Theater (Royal Drama Theater), where she played several roles in children's productions, among which were: "Dollhouse" and "Amorina".
Hannah connected her further destiny with creativity. After graduating from high school, the girl continued her studies at the Theater Academy in Sweden. After receiving a professional education, Alström signed a contract with the city theater in Stockholm and performed on its stage for several years.
Film career
Hannah first came to the set during her school years. A talented girl was noticed at one of the performances and was invited to star in the children's short film "My Gold", based on the fairy tale of the famous Swedish writer A. Lindgren.
The next role went to Alström only six years later. She auditioned for Swedish television, which recruited actors for the new Bert project. The series aired for a year, but was canceled due to low ratings. A year later, Hannah starred in the feature film Bert: The Last Virgin.
In her later career as an actress, roles in television series: "Doctor of the Archipelago", "Children on the Moon", "Cleo", "New Times", "Murders on Sandhamn", "Stockholm-Bostad", "Real People", "Crossing the Line" …
Hannah is very popular in her homeland, but she is not particularly eager to act in Hollywood films. She enjoys working with Swedish directors more, acting on television in serials and feature films.
But in the world cinema the name Alström nevertheless became known. This happened thanks to the films "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and "Kingsman: The Golden Circle". In the first and second films, she played the role of Princess Tilda.
After filming these films, Hannah took a short break from her acting career. In recent years, she has only appeared in two films, Ted for Love and The Glass Room.
