Alberto Rosende (full name Alberto Carlos Rosende III) is a young American film and theater actor, producer. He became widely known after playing the roles of Simon Lewis in the project "Shadowhunters" and Blake Gallo in the TV series "Chicago on Fire", "Chicago Police".
The creative biography of the actor began in his school years. He has appeared in many performances at the Fort Lauderdale Children's Theater and starred in the musical "Hairspray".

Alberto was born in the United States in 1993 on Valentine's Day. All his childhood was spent in South Florida in the town of Plantation. His father, Alberto Carlos Rosende II, was born in Cuba, and his mother, Marta Cristina Feruccio, came to the United States from Colombia. Alberto has a younger brother named Diego.
From childhood, the boy began to take an interest in art. He studied in the studio at the Fort Lauderdale Children's Theater and began performing early on stage.
Rosende received his primary education at the private school St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He graduated from New York University School of Art (NYU) in 2015. For 2 years he attended Stonestreet Studios where he studied acting. In his student years, the artist signed a contract with a cosmetic company and began to appear in advertising for men's hairspray.
Film career
Rosende first appeared on the screen in 2013. He landed a small role as a dancer in the musical short film "The Swing of Things".
Then Alberto joined the cast of the Blue Blood project, where he played Carlos Sagnago in the episode "Sins of the Father". In the same year, he appeared on the screen as Jordan Messino in the famous TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
After passing the casting, in 2015 the actor was approved for one of the central roles of Simon Lewis in the American fantasy project The Shadowhunters.
The film was based on the works of the writer Cassandra Clare from the Mortal Instruments series, and became a remake of the 2013 film Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. The series involved the actors: Catherine McNamara, Domenic Sherwood, Matthew Daddario, Emerod Tubia, Isaiah Mustafa.
Filming began in 2015 in Toronto. The first season of the project was released in 2016. The series was canceled in 2018, but an additional final episode was filmed a year later, which aired in the spring of 2019.
Since 2019, Rosende has been starring in the popular project Chicago on Fire, where she plays Blake Gallo. He also appeared in the same role in one of the episodes of the series "Chicago Police".
Personal life
Little is known about Rosende's personal and family life. For several years, he dated a girl named Madison Schreiber. In what relationship the couple is today is unknown.
There was a difficult period in the life of the actor. In 2013, he was diagnosed with an oncological disease at an early stage. He had to undergo intensive treatment and rehabilitation, but a year later he had a stable remission.
Rosende loves to play sports. He is a certified scuba diver.
The actor has a dog - a German shepherd named Bella and a cat called Stella.
