The future star of the Soviet and American stage was born on June 10, 1941 in an intelligent family. Parents at that time lived in the capital of Tatarstan, the city of Kazan. Father, Professor Semyon Weiss, taught the basics of dentistry at the medical institute. Mother worked as a surgeon in one of the city clinics. At birth, the girl was named Ida. She was the only child in the family. She was not pampered, but brought up and thoroughly prepared for an independent life. At the age of four, Ida began to study English under the guidance of an experienced governess.
In the creative field
Ida demonstrated her artistic abilities from an early age. Studying a foreign language did not bother her at all. She easily learned all grammatical and colloquial forms. At the same time, Ida loved to sing and dance. When she was ten years old, the family moved to Irkutsk, where relatives from the mother's side lived. The girl got into a creative environment - both her uncle and grandmother were fluent in the technique of playing different instruments. The future singer fell asleep and woke up with the sounds of the guitar and accordion. She begged her parents to enroll her in a music school.
Having received a certificate of maturity, so as not to upset her parents, Ida entered the Institute of Foreign Languages. After receiving her diploma, she arrived in Moscow and successfully passed the entrance exams to the theater school. However, she was not included in the number of students, due to nationality. She was not upset and became a soloist of the legendary orchestra conducted by Oleg Lundstrem. She got married and became Aida Vedischeva. Under this name she is known now on all continents of the planet.
Recognition and privacy
Aida's outstanding vocal skills and artistry allowed her to achieve love and adoration from the audience for several years. Confirmation is the disc of the song from the film "Prisoner of the Caucasus", which was sold in a week after the release in seven million copies. However, the officials of the Ministry of Culture were prejudiced against the singer, and in every possible way "blocked" her opportunities to appear on television. In 1980, Vedishcheva emigrated to the United States. Knowledge of English allowed her to quickly adapt to a new place. The singer's personal life did not develop immediately. Only on the fourth attempt did she find harmony in marriage. The husband strongly supports Aida in all endeavors.
