Biography
On the last day of 1937, the future actor Anthony Hopkins was born in the small town of Port Talbot in Great Britain. His parents had a family business, they owned a small bakery and worked there as well. For a long time Anthony studied at home, and only at the age of 12 he went to school. Parents managed to get their son enrolled in one of the best private schools in Wales. At school, the boy lasted about two and a half years.
Due to congenital health problems (Anthony was diagnosed with dyslexia), he did not have time to master the school curriculum in time. But it was then that the boy made the decision that he would devote his life to creativity, because despite the problems with learning, Hopkins Jr. easily mastered the piano and drew excellently.
In 1952, the failed artist abruptly changed the direction of his work. A chance meeting with the then famous actor Richard Burton had a great influence on Hopkins' decision. On the insistent advice of the movie star, Anthony entered a prestigious college to study drama and music, and graduated with honors five years later.
Having received a document on the completion of his education, the aspiring actor moved to the capital of England and began to work at the London Royal Theater. Until 70, the young actor worked in the troupe of the famous theater actor Laurence Olivier.
Career

The famous actor was married three times. The first choice of the actor was Petronella Barker, the marriage lasted only a few years, but his wife gave birth to Hopkins' only child, a daughter named Abigail. Then he met with Jennifer Linton. In the mid-90s, this marriage broke up, although they officially broke their relationship only in 2002. He concluded his last alliance with the Colombian actress Stella Aroyave a year after his divorce from Linton.
