Philip Anthony Hopkins was born in Great Britain in 1937. His father owned a bakery, and his mother also worked there. The boy suffered from congenital dyslexia - he read poorly and did not understand the essence of what he was reading. It was very difficult for him to study, so he dropped out and decided to devote himself to music. He began attending music school and learning to play the piano. After school, his parents sent him to a music college.
Hopkins was not the most ideal child, he did not want and did not like to study, mimicked teachers and made fun of someone all the time.
