Paul Thomas Anderson is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed eight feature films: Eight Fatal, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Knocking Love, Oil, Master, Inborn Vice and Phantom Thread. For these works he was nominated for an Oscar 8 times.
Short biography and family
Born in Studio City, Los Angeles area (USA). Date of birth June 26, 1970. His parents are Edwina Gough and Ernie Anderson. Paul's father acted in films and was an announcer for the ABC channel, and also hosted the late-night television show Goulardi. The hero of the article studied at many schools in the San Fernando Valley. These included the Buckley School at Sherman Oaks, the John Thomas Dye School, and the Crusing and Monticlere Rev. Career
