Lyubov Sliska is a prominent Russian politician. She was a member of the supreme council of the political party "United Russia". Lyubov Konstantinovna Sliska was born in Saratov on October 15, 1953. Lyuba grew up in the most ordinary family. Her father was the chief mechanic, but left his wife and children - daughter Lyuba and son Sergei. The mother raised two children herself, and she tried to keep them strict. There was never any particular prosperity in the house. Mom worked as a simple seller. Uncle Lyuba and Sergei provided financial assistance to the family.
After graduating from school, Lyubov entered a technical school, choosing bookselling as a future specialty. After training, she worked in the personnel department of a construction organization. In 1985 she became the head of the personnel department of Rospechat. She was also the released chairman of the trade union committee of the enterprise.
In 1990, Lyubov Konstantinovna graduated from the Saratov Law Institute and became a lawyer. Then for some time she worked through the trade unions and even headed the regional committee of the trade union of heavy engineering workers in the Saratov region.
In the mid-90s, Sliska became deputy head of the election commission. Around the same time, she met Dmitry Ayatskov, who at that time was the vice-mayor of the city, and later became the head of the entire Saratov region. It was during these years that Ayatskov began to form his team.
Political career
In the fall of 1996, Sliska became the first deputy governor of the Saratov region. However, after conflicts with the local media, she had to leave the post.
In the winter of 1998, Lyubov Konstantinovna received a new appointment and became deputy head of the government of the Saratov region. In this position, she oversaw the press.
A year later, Sliska was included in the list of the political movement "Unity". A little later, she became a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the third convocation. The next step in the career of Lyubov Konstantinovna was the post of the first vice-speaker of the Duma: Vladimir Putin had previously drawn attention to her bright speech at the party congress. In December 2003, Sliska was re-elected to the Duma and once again became deputy chairman of this representative body. The same success awaited a woman politician in the 2007 elections.
In 2011, Sliska announced that she would cease her activities in the legislature. According to her, Lyubov Konstantinovna was going to move away from politics and be an ordinary notary. In 2012, Sliska left the United Russia party. She explained her decision by the fact that her colleagues had ceased to involve her in serious and responsible work, that she did not feel her need for political unification.
