Since 2008, the Boulevard of Arts festival has been held annually in Moscow, on the City Day of the capital. In 2012, it took place on September 1st. Four city boulevards - Rozhdestvensky, Petrovsky, Tsvetnoy and Neglinny - have become an open creative platform for talented active people.
The Boulevard of Arts festival is positioned as a social project that provides a unique opportunity for aspiring musicians, artists, photographers, fashion designers, dancers and representatives of other arts to declare themselves and perform in front of a huge audience. The VIP guests of the festival are movie stars, honored masters of sports and culture, theater celebrities, prominent political figures, representatives of show business.
The history of the Boulevard of Arts festival includes exhibitions of independent young artists, presentations of films and books, master classes by famous photographers, meetings with actors, directors and animators. In addition, the festival annually hosts fashion shows, performances by dance groups, concerts of popular music groups such as Radio Day, Chicherina, Brothers Grimm and others.
In 2010, the Festival "Boulevard of Arts" was awarded a diploma of the winner of the competition in the nomination: "The best scenario project for holding art and entertainment mass events of the Day of Moscow."
A wide variety of art trends were presented at the 2012 Festival: music, cinema, dance, literature, design and fashion, hand-made, crafts, French and eco-art.
A fashion festival took place on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard. Fashion designers working in new directions presented their collections: art-science and eco-fashion. Graduates of design schools and specialized universities also did not stand aside and demonstrated their own creations.
Street artist Pasha presented a special project - street art MOST. He created an unusual installation, the object of which was the wall of an abandoned restaurant located on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard.
Exhibitions in the style of hand-made and handicraft art were presented at Neglinny and Petrovsky boulevards. Beautiful exclusive gizmos made by more than a hundred craftsmen did not leave indifferent the majority of festival visitors.
Spectacular dance competitions were held on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard. The competition was held in four nominations: Hip-Hop, House, Popping, Locking. The jury consisted of the strongest dancers of the capital.
In general, the art festival 2012 has become quite a rich and interesting event for all people who are not indifferent to creativity and art.
