The shooting of the famous TV series "Matchmakers" took place not only in Russia, but also in Ukraine. Some episodes were filmed in amazingly beautiful places in Turkey and Crimea.
The beloved film "Matchmakers" caused a lot of controversy about where it was filmed. In particular, there were many disagreements about the Kuchugury settlement. At least two settlements have this name: in the Krasnodar Territory and the Voronezh Region. The climate and nature in these villages are almost no different, so the audience had doubts: in which of them the filming of "Matchmakers" took place?
At various forums, when in the process of communication it turned out that the interlocutor lives in certain Kuchugars, he was asked to tell about the filming process and what impressions remained. However, as it turns out, no takes were made at any of these points. All filming took place in the Crimea. But not only there.
Where were "Matchmakers" filmed, and which ones?
The first "Matchmakers" were filmed in Kiev. "Matchmakers-2" - in Kiev and St. Petersburg. Only a few scenes were filmed in the city on the Neva; the main base of the film was created in Ukraine. Many viewers guessed on their own where the third "Matchmakers" were filmed: outdoor advertising, which was made in Ukrainian, got into the footage. The scene ending this film took place at the Boryspil airport. The fourth part of the series was filmed in Yalta. Namely - in a small hotel located in the middle of Massandra Park.
In "Svatakh-4" the footage of visiting the camp where Zhenya was resting was filmed in two suitable places at once: "Artek" and Kemer, which is located in Turkey. To be precise, the artists and the film crew were not in the city of Kemer itself, but 20 km away from it. If we take the airport of Antalya as a landmark, then it is 7 km from it. The house on the seashore where the matchmakers lived - the villa of Amara Dolce Vita.
The episodes with the cable car, on which Olga Aroseva and Vladimir Zeldin rode, were filmed in Ai-Petri. The footage with Kirkorov and other popular artists was filmed at the famous Massandra winery. This object is closed for visits, but an exception was made for "Matchmakers". The beginning of the fifth film takes place in Moscow. The main shooting took place in Kiev and the environs of this city. Matchmakers-6 was filmed entirely in Kiev.
About Ukrainian filming
The decision that the main base of the film will be created in Crimea on Ukrainian territory was taken for a reason. The precondition was that Crimea is famous for its climate and nature, has long been considered the land of legends, fine wine and an abundance of warmth and sun. All the shots of the series on Ukrainian soil were filmed only in early summer and autumn, as it was easier for the crew to work in these weather conditions. In 2014, the release of the seventh part of "Matchmakers" is planned.
