Instructions

Step 1

Enter the "Portal of State and Municipal Services" at www.gosuslugi.ru. In the upper right corner, click the inscription "Personal account" and on the loaded page in the lower right corner, click the "Register" button

Step 2

Read the "Terms of the portal" and confirm your agreement with them. Fill out the proposed form: enter your last name, first name, patronymic; insurance number of the individual personal account (SNILS) of the insured person in the personalized accounting system of the Pension Fund of Russia; and taxpayer identification number (TIN). You can find out your TIN directly on the website. The system will check the entered data within a few minutes.

Step 3

Create a password, choose a security question, how to get your activation code, and enter your email address and mobile phone number. After registration, you will have to wait about 2 weeks until you receive an activation code to your mailing address. As soon as you receive it, enter your "Personal Account" using the SNILS data and the created password.

Step 4

Choose the section "Electronic services". And in the proposed list, select the subsection "Federal Migration Service". Then select the item "Registration" / "Registration at the place of stay". You will be asked to fill out an "Application".

Step 5

Fill in step by step all the pages of the electronic "Application" offered by the site. You will need to enter your own passport data, data on your permanent registration (or tick the box that it is absent), passport data of the person providing the dwelling, the number of his "Certificate of state registration of ownership." You will also need information about the date of your citizenship, and other statistics - the reason for the change of residence, employment status and marital status. Select the branch of the FMS in your area, and send the application.

Step 6

Visit the registration authority at the suggested time (within 3 days). This is necessary for affixing a signature in the application and presenting an identity document and a document that is the basis for temporary residence in the declared residential premises ("Lease Agreement" or a statement of the person who provided the residential premises). Upon completion of the check, you will be given a "Certificate of Registration at the Place of Residence" on an approved form. Within 3 days, the owner of the dwelling will be sent by mail a "Notice of registration of a citizen at the place of stay" in the indicated dwelling.

Step 7

You can register at the place of stay and in the usual manner by contacting the department of the FMS together with the person providing the living space. There you will be given application forms and all documents will be checked. You can receive registration immediately or within three days. At the same time, men will need to register with the local military registration and enlistment office.
