If you are going on a trip abroad, you should take care of obtaining a passport in advance. A familiar old-style document is valid for five years, but with a new biometric one you can travel twice as long. In Ufa, there are several divisions of the Federal Migration Service, where you can get a passport.
It is necessary
- - 2 application forms;
- - 4 pcs photo 3, 5x4, 5;
- - internal passport with a copy of all pages;
- - copy of work book (for unemployed and pensioners - original and copy);
- - old passport with a photocopy of the page with personal data;
- - pension certificate and a copy (for pensioners);
- - a photocopy of a military ID or a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office (for men aged 18-27).
Instructions
Step 1
Take two application forms from the FMS department. They can also be downloaded on the Internet at the official website of the migration service. If you want to get an old passport, the questionnaires can be filled in by hand in black pen. It is important to do this without cuts, corrections or errors. For a new generation document, you will need applications filled out using technical means, in other words, printed on a printer.
Step 2
Application forms must be certified at your place of work. Students should contact the school secretary for this. If a citizen does not work or study, the application does not need to be certified. Please note that the application is valid for ten days, so after filling it out, do not delay going to the FMS.
Step 3
Pay the state fee. The amount and details for payment can be found on the official website of the FMS or by contacting the nearest unit in person. If the bank details are constant, then the amount of payment depends on what kind of document you will receive. If a passport is issued for a minor, then the amount to be paid will be several times less.
Step 4
The finished package of documents must be taken to one of the departments of the FMS:
- st. Krasin, 21;
- st. Mira, 16;
- st. 50 years of the USSR, 50.
If you receive an old passport, then your photographs should be pasted on both forms. If you are applying for a new biometric document, no pre-prepared photos are needed. Photos will be taken during the submission of the application form.
Step 5
The term for issuing a passport is a month, so you need to submit documents in advance so that it is ready for vacation. If you are going to receive a passport at the place of stay, and not at the place of residence, submit the documents even earlier, since the period for obtaining a passport in this case can take up to four months.
