Starting conditions

The many-faced and fanged Indian Gods cause fear and stiffness in an ordinary person. Spectators have completely different emotions when a clown runs out into the circus arena or a trainer gradually steps out with his bears. The audience is always loudly rejoicing and applauding the performing artist. Vladimir Ignatievich Deryabkin in any situation draws attention to his own person. When he walks through the streets of Moscow, New York or London, dressed in a painted blouse and cap, in his boots, wearing well-worn "accordion" boots, they look at him with surprise and a smile.

The future circus artist was born on July 7, 1949 in a Cossack family. Parents lived in a small farm called Chobotok, which stands on the banks of the Northern Donets. Father and mother were engaged in tillage. Volodya from an early age helped them manage the household. He did not study well at school. The reason for this was the child's hyperactivity. Deryabkin with great difficulty overcame five classes, after which his older brother took him to Leningrad. Having moved to the city on the Neva, Vladimir got a job as a night groom in a circus. He loved and knew how to take care of horses from an early age.

There was no such "institution" in Russia yet. With this theater the trainer visited Japan, Germany and Spain.

During his next tour, Deryabkin met the famous Soviet writer Valentin Rasputin. After this meeting, the circus artist decided to try his hand at literary creativity. The lack of specialized education did not bother him. Vladimir Ignatievich wrote down stories from life, in which he was a participant. His stories and stories were accepted for publication by the magazines "Neva" and "Siberian Lights". Deryabkin composed poems and sang them, accompanying himself on the guitar.
