For more than two decades, Alexey Pimanov has hosted the author's legal program "Man and the Law" on Channel One. In addition, the audience knows him as a director, producer and public figure. Once in childhood, Pimanov wanted to become a historian, but love for television prevailed. Alexey's successful television career confirms the correctness of his choice.
Childhood
The future journalist was born in 1962 in Moscow. Parents broke up when the boy was very young. Mother had to make a lot of efforts to provide Alyosha and his older brother with everything they needed. After a while, my mother met a man who replaced the children’s father, but they always remained grateful to the mother for what she had done for them.
From an early age, Alyosha preferred older friends, his brother's company was quite suitable for this. As a child of six, he began playing football and hockey, which he continued until the age of twenty. Pimanov even had a chance to play for the second line-up of the Lokomotiv club. At one time, the teenager was seriously carried away by history, he was ready to devote his entire further biography to this science. But the teacher on this subject urged his student to choose a different profession.
Youth
After completing the eight-year period, Pimanov began studying at a technical school with a degree in Automation and Telemechanics. The next step in his education was training at the Moscow Institute of Telecommunications. Then he had to make the final choice: move on to professional sports or continue his studies at the university. The young man chose the latter, but did not manage to finish his studies, and soon a summons came to the army. The recruit ended up serving in Kazakhstan at the Baikonur cosmodrome. Returning home, the young man continued, already in correspondence, to receive the profession of a broadcasting engineer. At the same time, I got a job at Ostankino. The first studio experience opened the way for Pimanov to the top of the television Olympus.
A television
A young man with a football background was offered to host one of the sports programs, but he chose the job of a video engineer and cameraman in the television center. Soon he was offered a place in the editorial office of the socio-political direction, and he tested himself as a correspondent for the TV channel "ViD", and then the host of the "Steps" program. When the novice specialist realized that television had completely captured him, he felt the need to get a specialized education and graduated from the journalism faculty of Moscow State University. In the mid-90s, Pimanov's debut author's project "Behind the Kremlin Wall" appeared, he became the director of the "Resonance" studio, and soon headed the Ostankino shopping center. Alexei did not forget his long-standing passion for sports, and was the producer of the programs "Sports News" and "Football Review".
Today "Ostankino" publishes a significant part of the material for the central TV channels, including the First. The greatest popularity for Pimanov was brought by the program "Man and the Law". For the first time its name appeared on television screens in 1970. “The program grows old with the viewer,” - this is how a journalist described it in the mid-90s. In 1997, the new leader of the project was able to restart it. The same topics remained - the most important events in the country, the work of law enforcement services, journalistic investigations and revelations.
Pimanov produced many popular projects: "Health", "Army Shop", "Life is Healthy". In addition, he was the producer of entire cycles: "Lubyanka", "Kremlin-9", "Emergency call", "Special Forces of Russia". This list contains about a hundred documentaries: "The Unknown Kremlin", "Special Purpose Garage", "Fetisov. 50 Years of Glory”and many others.
Alexey Viktorovich has been confirming membership in the national television academy for many years, and is also a co-chairman of the Association of Film and Television Producers.
Filmography
In 2004, Pimanov first turned his attention to serials. When creating them, he often acted as the author of the idea, director and producer. Genuine audience interest was aroused by "Alexandrovsky Garden", "Zhukov", "A Man in My Head", "Three Days in Odessa" and four dozen other films.
There is a full film in the director's filmography. The film "Crimea", which tells about what is happening on the peninsula in 2014, caused a wide public response. In the center of the drama are the real stories of witnesses and participants in the events of the Crimean Spring. The war film "Indestructible" is named another bright premiere.
Personal life
There were three marriages in Pimanov's life. The first time he started a family in his youth, and with his wife, economist Valeria Astakhova, he met while studying at a technical school. The girl did not hesitate for a long time about the marriage proposal, because her future husband, a student and a football player, showed great promise. The couple had two boys, Denis and Artem. Today we can talk about the Pimanov dynasty, since the sons are engaged in directing in the father's program "Man and the Law".
For the second time, Alexei married journalist Valentina Zhdanova. Colleagues were united by their participation in the project "Behind the Kremlin Wall", an office romance led to the emergence of a family. But before that, everyone had to leave their previous relationship. Daughter Daria graduated from the Higher Directing Courses and has taken her own niche on television - she collaborates with the TV channels First and Zvezda. Valentina's cycle of author's programs "Idols" received a high rating on ORT and proved her high professionalism.
Today Pimanov is married for the third time. Alexey speaks reluctantly about the reasons for the previous divorce, it is only known that he broke up with his ex-wife peacefully and intelligently. Olga Pogodina became the new darling of the TV presenter. The talented actress has already appeared in several of her husband's films.
How does he live today
In addition to creativity, the journalist is actively involved in the life of society. Since 2011, he has been a member of the All-Russian Popular Front. Representatives of the organization visit the regions of the country and learn about the problems of concern to their residents. For two years, Pimanov held a seat on the Federation Council, overseeing defense and security issues.
In his free time, the famous journalist does not forget his old hobbies - sports and history. He has many new plans and interesting projects. And there is no doubt that soon more awards will be added to his personal piggy bank of a professional.
