My home is my dear - you are my fortress. For every person, this is the place to come after a busy day - a safe haven. But what if you get lost? How to find your way to housing in different situations?
Instructions
Step 1
First, remember your address clearly, even if you have just moved. Then decide where you are - in a deep forest far from civilization or near people, perhaps on the next street. If you are in a noisy metropolis, then just name your street and ask taxi drivers or people in uniform how to get there (drive). Find your number on the right street and you will be there.
Step 2
Find your way to your home when visibility is poor in the city or village. In this case, look for bright landmarks. Anything can be a landmark: a tall freestanding tree, a TV tower, an unusual architecture house, a monument or circus lights. Closer to home, take a closer look at the playgrounds or brightly colored shop signs. Find your way around a familiar stop or fences. Remember that a landmark will serve those who memorized it before getting lost.
Step 3
Find your way around the area far from civilization. Remember the skills of the scout. Decide which direction to go in. Find north and south first. To do this, look at the trees. On the north side, the branches will be shorter than on the south, and the trunk of the tree in the lower part will be covered with moss. Take a closer look at the location of the nests. Their house will be located on the south side of the tree. Also, go to the noise of the road or other sounds related to the person. Orientation in an open field is a little more difficult. Determine the cardinal points of the sun. The sun rises in the east and rolls to the west.
Step 4
Find your way to some place to live. If you do not know where you are even approximately, then look around. Human footprints are everywhere. This can be a neatly cut tree or an old track from a car. Also take a closer look at the distant lights. Go to the nearest human habitat.
