Step 1
Contact your local or regional Red Cross office. Read the official information, familiarize yourself with the history of the RKK, rules, charter. You can participate in the activities of the organization from the age of 14, and become its official member from the age of 18.
Step 2
Write a free-form statement of desire to become a member of the Red Cross, pay annual membership fees (from 10 to 500 rubles). Within 10 days, your candidacy will be considered and approved or rejected (in case of problems with the law or participation in actions that contradict the activities of the RKK - for example, inciting ethnic hatred). Knowing an ALAC member who can give you a recommendation will speed up the application process.
Step 3
In due time, receive a personalized membership card and information about ongoing promotions and events of the local branch of the Red Cross, in which you can take part.
Step 4
You can become a member of the Red Cross movement without a membership card. The Red Cross regularly recruits volunteers who, free of charge, take part in charitable events: caring for the disabled, children, refugees, the elderly, distributing humanitarian aid, and disseminating information about the activities of the Red Cross. Those wishing to become a volunteer should contact the nearest RKK department, submit documents (if necessary, and documents on professional training), conclude an agreement, which will indicate the rights and obligations of the volunteer, his place of work.

If you want to associate your future life with this organization, follow the vacancies of the Russian Red Cross or international offices of the KK. Knowledge of foreign languages, availability of a demanded specialty (for example, doctor, psychologist), membership and regular participation in events and programs will increase the chances of becoming an employee of this organization.
