Valery Soloviev is a Russian theater and film actor, dubbing actor. He received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Soloviev starred not only in films, but also in commercials.
Childhood, adolescence
Valery Soloviev was born on February 15, 1963 in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo region. His parents were not associated with the world of theater and cinema. Childhood Valery Soloviev was difficult, but happy. He studied well at school, spent a lot of time with friends. In his youth, he dreamed of becoming an artist. At first, the relatives did not support this desire. They wanted Valery to get a more reliable profession. But over time, they had to come to terms with the choice of their son.
In 1984 Soloviev graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. Famous theater artists were his teachers. Soloviev's studies were very simple and interesting. After graduation, he had to look for himself for several years in order to decide what to do. In his hometown, there was no work in his specialty, so the actor had to move to Leningrad.
Career
Valery Solovyov's career began with performances on the theater stage. In 1987 he became a member of the troupe of the Lenin Komsomol Theater (now the Baltic House Theater). The loudest and most memorable were his roles in performances:
- "Dowry" (A. Ostrovsky) - Pirates;
- "The Life of Ilya Ilyich" (A. Goncharov) - Stolz;
- "Eugene Onegin" (A. Pushkin) - Onegin;
- "The Master and Margarita" (M. Bulgakov) - Judas.
At that time, Solovyov had his own fans who came to the theater to watch the play of their favorite actor. But Valery dreamed of working in cinema.
Soloviev began acting in films only in 1991. The first film was "My Best Friend". In it, he played a general. The role was very successful. After a long hiatus, in 1998 he starred in the film Rosabella and Troll. In 2002 he took part in the creation of the TV series "Time to Love". Solovyov was often invited to appear in serial films. In them he played diverse roles, but almost all of his characters were honest and principled. These qualities are inherent in the actor himself. The audience remembered his roles in the series:

Heroes from different parts of the animated film "Three Heroes" speak in his voice. He voiced Dobrynya Nikitich and Ilya Muromets, as well as the cartoon characters "Smeshariki" and "Avatar".
One of the brightest episodes in his career was the voice of James Bond. Valery recalls this work with great warmth. He first dubbed actor Pierce Brosnan in Die Another Day. Then Pierce Brosnan was fired and Daniel Craig starred in the series "Casino. Royale". The producers were looking for an understudy for a long time to voice the new actor, but they could not approve anyone. American colleagues, hearing Solovyov's voice, said it was perfect. They were not even embarrassed by the fact that Valery voiced Bond, played by Brosnan. So the heroes of the film changed, but the voice remained the same.
In 2006, Solovyov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
Personal life
Very little is known about Valery Solovyov's everyday life. He tries not to advertise the personal and is sure that fans are more interested in his work and the images of the heroes he voices. Valery is happily married. He is raising a daughter. In his free time, the actor enjoys traveling with his family. On weekends, they love to go out together.
