Come to church a little earlier than midnight, because it is at this time that the service begins, and being late can turn into the fact that you simply do not squeeze into a crowded room.

Cross yourself 3 times in front of the church entrance while bowing in the bow. There is usually a small counter next to the door where you can buy candles. If you do not want to put them near the icons, then buy for the service itself.

Take Easter cakes and eggs with you. At the end of the service, these products can be consecrated. By the way, it is not necessary to take all the food with you, leave some at the church. Do not forget to wear a pectoral cross around your neck.

It is desirable to endure the service while standing. There are shops in every church, but they are for the sick, old or pregnant women. You only need to sit down if you are very tired or unwell.

Bow your head at the time when the Gospel is being read, the priest censes in your direction, makes the sign of the cross, or says the phrase "Peace to all."
