As part of the celebration of the City Day, Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to visit two interesting photo exhibitions presented in the Transition project. The name corresponds to the venue of the event - one of them will take place in the underground passage next to the Park Kultury metro station in the area of Zubovsky Boulevard, the second - in the passage between Mokhovaya Street and Manezhnaya Square.

Within the framework of the project, it will be possible to see interesting works by students of the Rodchenko School of Photography and Multimedia, as well as ordinary amateur photographers who live and work in Moscow. In total, about 460 photographs will be presented, in which you can see shots of ordinary city life or beautiful places in the Russian capital. Everyone will be able to vote for their favorite works, after which the winner will be rewarded.

The organizers of these photo exhibitions are the Moscow Department of Culture and the Multimedia Art Museum. According to representatives of these organizations, the project is intended to stop the rapid urban rhythm for a moment, pausing in the daily bustle and movement. The location of the photo exhibitions was not chosen by chance, because underground passages are an integral part of the city with its inhabitants and a special atmosphere. And it is from the transitions between multiple destinations that all city life consists. The rhythm of modern life is such that people try to overcome the "transitions" between places of interest as soon as possible, perhaps missing something important.

This project will give the residents of Moscow an opportunity to take a short pause in their rapid movement around the city and admire interesting pictures of their capital, which they may see from a new perspective. Two photo exhibitions will be open to everyone from 1 to 27 September.
