Many people are afraid to speak in public. Fear that you will not be understood, fear that you will not be able to explain everything, fear that you will make the wrong impression. And if this is the first exit to the audience and the speaker needs to introduce himself?
Instructions
Step 1
Everyone knows that they are greeted by their clothes, and only already escorted by their minds. Therefore, before going out to the public with a speech, dress tastefully and neatly. Do not chase the price of the clothes you buy: the main thing is how it sits on you. So you can buy a suit from Versace and disgrace the whole world just because its color does not suit you, and the cut makes you look fat by three sizes. Spend as much time caring about your image as you will compose a self-presentation text, you will not regret it.
Step 2
Next, the text itself. It is unlikely that you will stand and be silent, and the audience will draw some conclusions by themselves. Spontaneous speech will not work - very few people can immediately rattle off an excellent text that will hook the audience and allow them to form an opinion about you. So write this text and seek help from a professional rhetorician: he will draw you special icons above the lines that will show where the intonation is increasing, where is the decrease. But don't blindly follow these directions to sound like a robot.
Step 3
Take the time to check your text for factual, stylistic, or speech errors. The content of the speech and the form in which you serve your "dish" to the audience are very important. Think of it as part of your image - don't just pay attention to clothing and accessories.
Step 4
Another essential part of being successful in public introductions is self-confidence and charisma. Male and female charm does amazing things to influence listeners and shape their impression of you. A smile should play on your face - but not a strained one, not squeezed out of yourself through force, but a natural one. Therefore, you will have to imagine for at least one day (if you do not always do this) that everything in your life is fine and will be even better.
Step 5
When you go out to your audience, think only of yourself. Ignore any grimaces, frowns, or tongue clatter. You need to cultivate a reasonable indifference in yourself, because if you get upset from every unkind glance from the crowd (most likely caused not by you or your speech at all), your little speech is definitely doomed to failure.
