Andrey Urgant is a popular Russian actor and TV presenter, the father of the equally famous host Ivan Urgant. On account of him dozens of memorable roles, directing the programs "Meetings on Mokhovaya", "Smak" and other projects.
Biography
Andrey Urgant was born in 1956 into a creative St. Petersburg family. He was brought up by Honored Artist of the country Lev Milinder and People's Artist Nina Urgant, who worked at the Yaroslavl Theater. After a while, the parents separated, and Andrei remained to raise his mother. He grew up very athletic, was fond of reading and music. Especially the future artist was impressed by the novel "The Master and Margarita".
After graduating from school, Andrei Urgant entered the Leningrad Theater Institute, where he studied in the workshop of RS Agamirzyan. He quickly gained the status of a talented comedian and subsequently got a job at the Theater of the Lenin Komsomol. Here he worked until the early 90s, and then moved to the famous theater on the Fontanka. It was the time of the heyday of television, and Andrei became one of the many actors who decided to try their luck in television journalism.
For many years Urgant devoted himself to work on St. Petersburg television, remaining the host of the television programs "Twelve" and "Zolotoy Ostap". Also for more than ten years, Urgant directed the program "Meetings on Mokhovaya", aired on Channel Five. For some time he also hosted the Smak program. Andrey Lvovich had a chance to cooperate with TV-1000 and STS channels. On the first, he directed his own project "Egoist", and on the second - the program "Thank God you came!"
Since 1982, Andrei Urgant has often acted in films. At first, these were simple children's television plays, but in the early 90s he had a chance to perform one of the significant roles in the famous film "Window to Paris". Often he was invited to the popular crime series in those years: "Russian Transit", "Destructive Force", "Racket" and many others. In 2005, Andrei Urgant played the role of entertainer, so desired from childhood, in the multi-part project "The Master and Margarita". He also starred in the comedy "Love-Carrot" and its sequels, the series "Voronin".
Personal life
Andrei Lvovich Urgant was married four times. The first wife was a former classmate Valeria Kiseleva. The star couple had a son, now a famous TV presenter and actor Ivan Urgant. After a while, the couple divorced, and Andrei entered into a new marriage with actress Alena Svintsova. They had a daughter, Maria, who now lives with her mother in the Netherlands.
The third wife of Andrei Urgant was Vera Yatsevich, and the fourth was Elena Romanova. The last wife of the presenter and actor is as much as 30 years younger than him, but this does not in the least interfere with their family happiness. Recently Andrey Lvovich celebrated his 60th birthday, but, despite his years, he remains very active, he has been filming a lot on television. Together with his wife, he is thinking about another replenishment of the family.
