Childhood and youth
Interest in the surrounding nature to one degree or another appears in every adequate person. People living in rural areas are more likely to encounter natural phenomena. The townspeople experience this influence indirectly, through dust and soot. Nikolai Anatolyevich Vlasov considers himself a city man. At the same time, he feels himself to be an integral part of the global ecological system. This approach allows him to more accurately formulate answers to emerging questions and problems. He tests all kinds of hypotheses and assumptions empirically.
The future doctor of biological sciences was born on October 21, 1953 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. My father worked as an agronomist in the soil-ecological laboratory of the Agricultural Academy. Mother taught biology at the university. From an early age she took Kolya with her on summer expeditions. The boy easily memorized the names of plants, insects and small animals that the student students collected for research. From such trips, Vlasov brought home a variety of herbariums, collections of beetles and butterflies.
Professional activity
Nikolai studied well at school. His favorite subjects were chemistry and biology. When the time came to choose a profession, he decided to get a specialized education at the famous Moscow Veterinary Academy. In his student years, Vlasov not only "gnawed the granite of science", but also engaged in social work. During the summer holidays, he worked in a student construction brigade. Having received a diploma in biochemistry in 1978, the young specialist in distribution entered the Research Institute of Veterinary Virology and Microbiology. He was engaged in a wide range of issues that were entrusted to him.
In 1985 Nikolai Vlasov defended his Ph. D. thesis. Simultaneously with the solution of scientific and practical problems, he was actively involved in teaching. He spent the warm period of the year on experimental sites and went on target expeditions. In 1995 Nikolai Anatolyevich defended his doctoral dissertation. Vlasov's scientific career was developing successfully. At the beginning of the 2000s, he was appointed head of the Moscow City Center for the Prevention and Diagnostics of Human and Animal Diseases.
Recognition and privacy
Vlasov's scientific creativity and administrative successes are marked with high government awards and honorary titles. He was awarded the medal "For his contribution to the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union." In 2019 he was awarded the title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation".
In the spring of 2008, Vlasov was appointed Deputy Head of the Federal Service "Rosselkhoznadzor". The personal life of Nikolai Anatolyevich developed according to the usual scheme. He got married during his student years. The husband and wife raised and raised two children.
