The choice is made
The main idea of the poem "Will I really go to America …" is in the first two lines. The woman asks the question of whether she will be able to leave her homeland, and she herself answers that she will not be able to deceive herself. Reasonably understands that she does not like life in her homeland. And she, like a dog on a chain, suffers. He tolerates because he loves his country.
Lullabies
The song poem "Lullaby" is the consolation of a crying son. Various maternal persuasions sound - to eat sweet semolina porridge, an offer to leave for a fantastic country where bananas and oranges grow. The image of a mother who wants to feel herself the best has been created. In another Lullaby, the lyric heroine wants to become a little girl again, wants her mother to sing a lullaby. To this “self-made” song, she, already an adult, would begin to grieve that her life did not turn out the way her mother would have liked. And the time will come when they will cry together over the unhappy fate.
God help the children
Among the bardic songs, the traditional theme of sons, whom their mothers want to protect from death, remains. The lyrical heroine of the poem-prayer "Boys" is a mother who, if she could, would love all her sons. She wishes those young people who are fighting to wake up in a quiet, peaceful place. The mother asks God to give her more hope for the return of "one and all" sons. And she asks God just a little - so that they wake up.
The soul no longer "rings"
In the poem "When I sang for you …" the woman sang for her beloved. Her soul "rang" because she sang as for God. Trouble happened: the man died in battle. The woman was left alone. And until her death, she will be with this trouble. The poem ends on such a bitter note.
Stay in the heart of a man
The lyrical heroine of the poem "In Long Memory" is a woman of age who once loved and gave her beloved her photograph. She wants her memory to remain good. She wants her memory to be "by heart." The daughters of a loved one will not recognize this lady. This is not their relative. A woman wants to stay forever in the heart of this man. She is looking forward to meeting him. Only when will it happen?
From Minsk - to Moscow from Moscow - to Minsk
The lyrical heroine of the poem "Along Tverskaya, across Yamskaya, across any …" will come to Moscow. She is familiar with all Moscow streets. It will pass through some with a loved one or alone. The woman will come again, but for now she is leaving for a long time. In the poem "Moscow from the Belorussky railway station …" these trips are associated with a person who was once important to her. The Belarusian land, where the relatives of the lyrical heroine lives, and she herself are so similar to each other.
The world is beautiful - it's a miracle …
The heroine of the poem "How wonderful the world is when washed …" is seized with joyful feelings. The world seems beautiful, and so does your own life. Everything old is washed away. There remain pure, that is, real, sincere, feelings, pure thoughts. The lyrical heroine of the poem "It's so good that life is simple …" seems to advise us that we should look at life easier, not seek complex happiness. Lying on the grass and looking at the plane fluttering like a moth is not happiness? The last four lines are addressed to a passerby so that he does not pay attention to the woman.
E. V. Kazantseva, the famous Belarusian representative of the author's song, made a serious and original contribution to the development of this genre. Ahead she still has a sea of poetry, many recordings and festivals, many devoted spectators.
