Alexandra Kuznetsova became known as a member of the KVN team "Faculty of Journalism". Since then, many significant events have taken place in the career of a talented singer and actress, including participation in the 5th season of the "Voice" show. Today the girl is actively developing her musical activities.
Biography
Kuznetsova Alexandra Artemovna was born on July 19, 1988 in the city of Kineshma in the Ivanovo region. The girl grew up as a diversified child. At an early age, her grandmother took Alexandra to a music school, where the girl successfully mastered the piano and vocals.
After school, Kuznetsova entered the Faculty of Journalism at St. Petersburg State University, the department of radio and television. Even during training, at the suggestion of Alexandra, the St. Petersburg team of KVN "Faculty of Journalism" was organized. The team played actively and in 2011 became the vice-champion of the KVN Premier League, and a year later won the same title in the Higher League.
In parallel with her creative activity, Alexandra continued her studies and in 2010 graduated from the Faculty of Journalism with honors. But the graduate did not start working in the specialty of a radio and television journalist. As the girl admitted in a number of interviews, she realized that some journalistic stories are incorrect and more like propaganda.
Musical career
Alexandra has been studying music since childhood and not only at the music school. In June 2015, the girl recorded her first album, "Keep quiet and hug me tight." The poems for the compositions were written by the St. Petersburg poetess Marina Katsuba, and the music for the songs was created by Alexandra herself.
In 2016, on September 30, Alexandra Kuznetsova passed a casting to participate in the country's vocal show "The Voice". During the blind auditions, three mentors turned at once to perform her author's song "Keep quiet and hug me tightly" - Leonid Agutin, Polina Gagarina and Dima Bilan. After the performance, the girl expressed her gratitude to the program editors for allowing her to perform the author's composition.
Alexandra chose Agutin as her mentor in the project, since as a child she sang to his famous hit "hop-hey, la-la-lay". The singer left the project of the First Channel, having reached the stage of "Duels". Later in an interview, she commented on her departure: “I'm not offended. I immediately reassured myself with thoughts that, then, it should be so. It's just difficult when you perform not your own material, not personally reworked a song."
It should be noted that the girl got to the project only on the third attempt, such perseverance has helped her more than once in life. The first failure at the casting prompted the singer to take serious vocal lessons. And she turned to the jazz vocalist Tatiana Tolstova for help.
Subsequently, despite dropping out of the "Voice" project, the girl expressed herself that she considered participation in this TV show a significant page in her career and biography, because it was thanks to the program that the singer was able to make herself known to the whole country.
In November 2017, the singer released an album titled "1000 Birds", which started on iTunes in the first three ratings. Also, clips were released for the songs "Moscow Boy" and "Shut Up and Hold My Hand", performed in a duet with Felix Bondarev.
In early 2018, Kuznetsova mixed the best songs from her two albums and released the acoustic album "Malo". In it live performances were re-recorded such songs as "Do not sink, but swim", "Air". Pianist Evgeny Pyankov and guitarist Anton Bender took part in the recording of the songs.
Alexandra's leading event in 2018 is a solo concert at the Moscow International House of Music. On May 16, the singer presented 14 musical compositions about love to the public. Artists from the youth string orchestra conducted by Dayana Hoffman also appeared on the stage.
In 2018, the singer's album "Sleep Then (EP)" (2018) was released. The singer continues to develop her musical activities and participates in a variety of promotions.
Career in PR and design
In addition to her musical career, Alexandra has excelled in the PR field. In 2011, she created her own PR agency called Publica media. The agency developed successfully, so in a short period of time it was responsible for the release of the Internet guide to concept stores and designers of St. Petersburg and Moscow Loftshopper, as well as a large market in “Etazhi”.
A little later, Kuznetsova, together with Dmitry Estrin, organized the Headliner educational project and graduated more than 500 PR specialists.
The girl applied her talents in the design sphere. With the help of her mother, Alexandra created the “Mother's Sweater” clothing brand. Sasha Panika, Sasha Bagrova were invited as brand faces, Kuznetsova herself also became the face of a new clothing brand.
The girl always says in an interview that this is her mother's project, and she only helps in its implementation with her creative ideas. However, Kuznetsova's love for stylish things was not limited to her own project.
Back in 2012, Alexandra Kuznetsova began cooperation with the fashion brand Oh, my, and a year later she became the face of this brand. In March 2018, the girl took part in the New Names in Fashion 2018 fashion battle, which was organized for young Russian designers.
