Khan was called Jackie Chan by his classmates because of his appearance. As a result, the boy became interested in who his peers associate with, became interested in films with the participation of Jackie Chan, even read his autobiographical book and was literally struck by the author's philosophy and his outlook on life.

The next important stage in his life was the psychological trainings of Pavel Romashin, which the guy attended with his mother and sister. After the first lesson, Roman decided to radically change his life, quit smoking, lost more than 20 kg in three months.

But the young man did not think about acting at all. He was fascinated by sports and everything related to the computer. In accordance with his hobbies, he chose a profession - after school he left for Moscow, where he entered RosNOU (Russian New University), the Faculty of Computer Technologies.

The path to creativity

Despite the fact that Roman did not consider acting as a profession, this direction of art was present in his life from high school. From the 7th grade, he was a member of the KVN school team. After entering the university, he became part of the university team, with which he performed even in the Higher League. And Khan was not only an ordinary "player" in KVN, but also a screenwriter, stage director. In his rare interviews, he often says that it was this game that helped him develop his acting talent, “stock up” on such skills as improvisation, quick reaction to the jokes of opponents or stage partners, and wit in general.

Roman Khan's debut on TV took place as a participant in the Comedy Club project, but very soon he became the author of numbers for its leading artists, one of the directors of a unique and successful stand-up project.

And at this stage of his life and career, Roman was helped to develop by the idol of his childhood and youth. The sketch "Boxing duel", which Khan created together with Alexander Revva, is very popular. In the issue, a Russian Korean plays the role of Jackie Chan's understudy.

But he did not abandon his dream of becoming a certified actor. In parallel with his work on television and in films, he attended various acting courses. It was after her courses that Roman decided to try himself in a new direction - to become a director of feature films and serials.
