Alexey Anatolyevich Guy is a Ukrainian footballer. For several years he was one of the most promising midfielders of the national team. He began his career with Shakhtar Donetsk.
Biography
Early period
Alexey Gai was born in Zaporozhye on November 6, 1982. The parents guessed that the future athlete was growing up in the family when the boy was 7 years old. Alyosha was a very mobile child and practically never parted with the ball. In the yard team, he immediately took the position of the favorite. Equally successfully coped with the function of a striker and a defender.
Like many children, Alexey Gai did not particularly like school. Physical education was my favorite lesson. There Lesha showed the best results.
Work in clubs
Alexey Gai saw no other future than to become an athlete. He lived by football, for the sake of his future career he was ready to train for days.
In 2000, Alexey signed a contract with the Donetsk football club Shakhtar. I played for him until 2004. In the same year I got to Illichivets. He played 55 matches and returned to his native Shakhtar 2 years later. This time Alexey stayed there for a long time. Qualitative work on the field won the right to become one of the best players on the team.
In 2013, Guy decided to move to Odessa "Chornomorets". It was a productive year, after which Alexei needed a break.
A new look at career twists and turns made me sign a contract with the Gabala club for a year and a half. This was Guy's first serious experience when he played for foreign football clubs. Spent 51 matches, drove 14 goals into the opponents' goal.
Then there was a two-year contract with the Russian "Kuban" and 63 matches played for it. In most of the games, Alexey showed high performance and good technique.
In March 2017, during the game with the Mordovia club, the rival team's forward Alexander Alkhazov required emergency medical assistance. It was provided by Alexey Gai. For this, the athlete was awarded a special award of the FNL.
After a while, there followed a return to Ukrainian clubs, namely to Olimpik Donetsk.
Since 2000 he played in the national team of Ukraine.
Oleksiy Gai played about 140 games in the Ukrainian championships, scoring 22 goals against his opponents.
Another 27 matches were held in the Cup of the country, where they managed to demonstrate 6 beautiful goals. About 20 games took place in European competitions.

Personal life
Despite his busy schedule, Alexei always finds time for his family. His wife's name is Catherine. She gave the athlete two daughters - Sonya and Maria. The Guy family has a four-legged pet - Wendy's dog, Chihuahua breed.
Colleagues characterize Alexey as a friendly, reliable guy. He is always ready to help, support. And Guy always lives outside of politics. The footballer tries not to comment on the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, he only emphasizes that the main value is human life, and therefore is an opponent of wars.
