Igor Demarin is the author of many hits that do not lose their relevance today. For some, he is a famous chansonnier, while others know him as the author of famous musicals and operas. But one thing is certain - a talented person is talented in everything.
First successes
Igor Borisovich Demarin is a good example of a musician who knows how to be modern and relevant at any time. If before he was known as a performer of his own songs, now he is already known as the author of rock operas, which are still sold out in theaters. Therefore, he is interesting to viewers of different generations, young people do not know his hits, but they have an idea of the opera “Perfumer” based on the novel by Suskind. This speaks of how subtly Demarin is able to feel the time and does not want to remain the author of one song.
Igor Demarin was fascinated by music since childhood. Igor was born in Ukraine in the city of Izyum (Kharkiv region) in 1959. Igor's love for music was partially passed on to Igor from his mother, who served in the local theater, although she had no special education. Demarin graduated from the local music school, piano. Moreover, the future composer composed his first song at the age of thirteen. He successfully performed with his work at local concerts, but this was not enough for an ambitious guy. After school, Demarin entered the Musical College in Artem for a piano class. After college, Demarin was taken into the army, but he served in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Black Sea Fleet, so he did not lose his musical skills. Moreover, after the service, the guy leaves for Kiev to continue his studies and enters the Conservatory. Already during his studies, Demarin became the soloist of the VIA "Korchagintsy" and the author of the rock opera "12 monologues overheard in a crowd of passers-by", which was successfully held both in the USSR and in other countries.
Love and music
But the real popularity came to the singer at the competition of young performers "Jurmala" in 1986 with the song "Ivanna". After that, Demarin repeated his success more than once in the Crimea and in Polish Sopot. And after the musician moved to Moscow, he began to write music for films and collaborate with other performers. Demarin wrote a lot for the performer Irina Shvedova, who became not only his muse, but also his wife. For two whole years the couple presented the concert program "Two People Walk the World". But with the termination of joint creative activity, love also passed - the couple parted. A few years later, Igor will marry a second time. His wife Natalya will become his producer, leaving Igor to do only creativity. Two sons are growing up in the new family.
And Igor Demarin started writing musicals and rock operas in earnest. In total, he has five productions. The most famous is "Perfume" based on the novel of the same name by Patrick Suskind. Moreover, Süskind himself had not given copyright to anyone to stage the novel before. And I gave it to Igor Demarin. After the musical was successfully held at the Moscow Novaya Opera Theater, a version of the ice show was made.
