Irina was born in the town of Barabinsk, Novosibirsk region, in April 1972. The girl's mother was engaged in the household and children, the father worked on the railway. The girl began to show her artistic talent and vocal abilities from the age of 3. She used her grandmother as a scene - she climbed onto her lap and sang. The baby's repertoire included exclusively Ukrainian folk songs, those that she heard from her mother and grandmother. Irina was talented in everything related to music. She forced the music school, or rather the piano course, as an external student. Awareness of her own attractiveness and taste came to her much later, when she was already studying at the music school in Novosibirsk.

During her student days, Irina discovered a new musical and vocal direction - the girl became interested in jazz, even created her own band, but very quickly "grew" out of its framework. In 1991, she became a participant in the Yalta competition, took 1st place there and received an offer from the well-known composer Vyacheslav Tyurin about cooperation. It not only marked the beginning of her professional career, but also radically changed her personal life.
A year later, an ordinary girl from Novosibirsk turned into a singer "Diana", released her first solo album, followed by 6 more.
Tyurin allowed Irina to develop not only in Russia, but also abroad. She went on tour to Cannes, often performed in Germany, where she even got married. During that period, she was lucky to perform on the same stage and work closely with DJ Bobo, Dieter Bohlen and other European stars.
In 1999, Irina again made an attempt to create her own musical group. This is how the Reflex group appeared on the Russian stage.
