A self-regulatory organization (SRO) is created not for the purpose of making a profit, but for the purpose of exercising control and supervisory functions over the activities of participants in a certain market segment, which are its subjects. The SRO status has the right to acquire only a previously created non-profit partnership.

Instructions

Step 1

Conduct a meeting of the founders of the future non-profit partnership and decide on its creation. Develop its charter and put it to the vote of the founders. In case of a positive decision, within three months from the date of the decision to create a non-profit partnership, contact the Federal Registration Service for its registration.

Step 2

Collect and submit to the UFRS the following documents:

- application (the name, address and contact numbers of the applicant must be indicated);

- the charter of the organization and other constituent documents;

- information about the founders (in 2 copies);

- information about the address of the organization.

Step 3

Within 14 days from the date of your application, the UFRS will send to the tax authorities all the documents necessary to enter information in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on the newly created non-commercial partnership. In 5 days after that, you should receive a notification from the Federal Registration Service of the Russian Federation about your organization's entry into this register, and no later than 3 days later - a certificate of registration.

Step 4

For a non-profit partnership to be able to obtain SRO status, it must meet certain requirements. First, the SRO should include at least 25 business entities or 100 professional entities who entered it on a voluntary basis. Secondly, the compensation fund created by the members of the SRO must currently amount to at least 500,000 rubles per one of its members. Thirdly, a non-profit partnership in order to create an SRO must develop rules and standards for professional and entrepreneurial activity. Fourth, to introduce supervisory and regulatory bodies into the structure of the organization.

Step 5

To register an SRO, send to the UFRS documents confirming that your non-profit partnership has the right to apply for this status. Within a month, you will receive a certificate of entry of the SRO into the relevant register.
