Biography
The life of the eminent artist began in the early 60s in the administrative center of the Siberian Federal District, in the city of Novosibirsk. From childhood, Dmitry had a predisposition to physical activity, he was engaged in hand-to-hand combat, swimming. During school time, the guy was first attracted by the creation of his own music and poetry.
Having received his secondary education, Persin decided to undergo compulsory military service. At that time, he did not at all want to engage in acting, and even more so he did not expect that he would become known throughout the CIS.
On one of the regular patrols, Dmitry's platoon was able to find a military aircraft from Korea that crossed the borders of the Soviet Union. For this merit, young soldiers were given access to budgetary higher education. Persin was offered to enter a theater institute, but at that time he did not even consider such an opportunity.
The future actor chose to enter a higher educational institution related to the national economy. After receiving his diploma, Dmitry got a job at an ordinary production in the position of deputy chief accountant.
Creative activity
When the USSR collapsed, Persin made the final decision to work in creativity. At the age of 29, he managed to take the post of manager in a production center. With his main work he combined obtaining a director's education at the Russian Institute of Theater Arts.
By the end of the 90s, the first musical collection made by Dmitry's musical group saw the light of day. The men performed chanson music. A few years later, Persin received the award as the best chanson performer in 2004.
Film career
Thanks to his musical past, in the early 2000s, Dmitry was offered to play a role in a theatrical production in which the musician's tracks are present. He also performed many times in small theaters, as a supporting actor.
On television, the actor first made his debut in the role of a law enforcement officer who does not lead the most correct lifestyle and commits crimes. It was the motion picture "Falling into Heaven."
Despite the respectful age of Dmitry, in the future he was invited for a long time only to participate in secondary roles. According to the artist, he tried not to lose even such small opportunities, because the goal was to realize himself on the big screen.
After several years of participation in second-rate films in the role of a supporting person, in 2005 Dmitry was offered the role of the commander of a partisan detachment in the film of the same name "The Man of War". After participating in such a popular television project, the filmmakers finally noticed him.
4 years before the tragic death, Persin managed to take part in many cult series and films. One of the most successful projects of the actor was the Russian television series "Witch Doctor". In 2009, an aspiring artist and popular musician died due to a sudden malignancy in the brain.
