Early years, adolescence

Georgy Alexandrovich was born on March 11, 1926. The family lived in Moscow. Since childhood, Georgy wanted to become a sailor, he went in for sports - boxing, athletics.

In 1941, the young man entered the Naval School. During the war he was sent to serve on the boat "Brave". A year later, the young man became the helmsman. The Brave team took part in battles many times. Yumatov received many awards and was wounded several times.

After the victory, George returned to the capital. Once he was noticed by Aleksandrov Grigory, a director. Grigory liked Yumatov's appearance, he invited the sailor to star in a movie.

Film career

Yumatov's first roles were small. Serious work was filming in the movie "Young Guard". During that period, Aleksandrov advised Georgy to study at VGIK. But Sergey Gerasimov, who was recruiting students, decided that Yumatov was sufficiently trained and gave him a role in his film.

Then there were filming in other films on a military theme. Yumatov really enjoyed acting, he gave all his best on the set. The actor became famous after the release of the movie "The Next Flight". Critics consider the role in the movie "Cruelty" to be the best work.

Later, Yumatov began to have difficulties with alcohol, Georgy became nervous. However, he still played great. Yumatov starred in the movie "One of Us", "Officers", which were successful.

In the 80s, the actor starred a little, financial difficulties began in the family. In 1994, he was finally able to receive a pension as a war veteran, the paperwork process was lengthy. In the 90s, George had minor roles.

In 1994, the actor shot a janitor after falling out with him. Thanks to his lawyer, he was given 3 years, and after 2 months he was granted amnesty. Later, Georgy Alexandrovich was diagnosed with an aneurysm of the abdominal cavity, he underwent surgery. However, health difficulties remained.

Yumatov began attending church, completely abandoned alcohol. In 1997 he became a member of the "Field of Miracles" program dedicated to Victory Day. In the same year, on October 4, Georgy Alexandrovich died, he was 71.

Personal life

The wife of Georgy Alexandrovich is Krepkogorskaya Muse, actress. They met on the set of the film "Young Guard". Then they got married. Yumatov took his wife to the shooting, she was given small roles.

Over time, Muse turned into a capricious woman, spent a lot on outfits. She did not like household chores, as a rule, her husband was engaged in everyday life. They did not have children, Muse was against it. Due to another abortion, she became infertile.

Yumatov decided to leave his wife, but did not file a divorce. He drank for several years, then returned to the Muse. Krepkogorskaya died 2 years after the death of Grigory Alexandrovich.
