His songs are heard from car receivers. His voice is known in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The boys, who have tasted alcohol for the first time, dissolve their snot and listen with tears to the performance of Ivan Kuchin - they have a difficult path ahead of them through shipments and zones. Mature people, who have already "rewound" their deadlines, lament that they could not resist temptations and were frivolously carried away by the thieves' romance. Over the past twenty years, thieves' songs have almost ousted truly folk tunes from the air.
Born in the "steppes of Transbaikalia"
In the modern socio-political situation, it is very difficult for young people to chart a route for themselves in life. Not so long ago, in Soviet times, they were offered a wide road and real opportunities for realizing their inclinations and talents. Today, a young man designing his future has one way - to make money. Love, conscience and decency are in the past. Just like the dear little boy Vanya Kuchin has survived only in photographs. Today he is a famous author of his own songs, who has gone through the harsh school of life.
The biography of Ivan Kuchin is typical for many people living in harsh Siberia. The child was born on March 13, 1959 in the Trans-Baikal city of Petrovsk. An ordinary family of workers. Father is a driver, mother is a worker on the railway. The usual scheme is parents at work, and the boy is free. From an early age Ivan knew how the street lives and the basic rules of behavior in the company of boys. He studied well at school and, having received a certificate, entered the art department of the pedagogical school. But they did not succeed in completing their education. Then, as expected, the young man was drafted into the ranks of the armed forces.
Friends and acquaintances of Kuchin note that during his school years, the now famous singer-songwriter did not show poetic or musical talents. Like many of his peers, he knew how to strum the guitar, but nothing more. After serving in the army, he tried to act as a guitarist on the stage of a restaurant in Yalta. He did not receive the desired satisfaction and began to think about his own recording studio. And I couldn't think of anything better how to steal equipment from the local House of Culture. What got caught and got a real term.
Creative way
According to an old popular belief, a person who is imprisoned is likely to repeat his mistake. The fate of Ivan Kuchin exactly confirms this sign. The first "walker" is followed by the second. And in total, he spent almost 12 years behind bars. it was here that he learned of the death of his mother. Being in captivity deforms the character and psyche of a person. Oddly enough, but the career of an author-performer began in the camp barracks. The first step Ivan began to write poetry. And then come up with musical accompaniment. In 1987, Kuchin released his first album, which he called "Wild Beach".
After his release, in 1994, Ivan Leonidovich moved to the capital and here he recorded his new legal albums. The first is titled "New Camp Lyrics", the second - "The Years Fly." Connoisseurs of chanson first heard the song "The Man in a Quilted Jacket", which after a short time became a breakthrough hit. The author presents the next album, "The Fate of Thieves" in about a year. Recordings of Kuchin's songs on various media are released in millions of copies.
Meanwhile, the personal life of the poet and composer, as they say, "does not stick". In the mid-90s, Ivan married a singer named Larisa. Husband and wife separated after a few years. At the same time, Kuchin did his best to save the marriage. Failed. At a difficult moment for life and creativity, his sister came to him and began to help his brother. Life goes on. Kuchin has recovered from a mental trauma and continues to write songs. It rarely happens in public.
