Biography

The future star was born in the city of Semipalatinsk (Kazakhstan), July 22, 1978. In 1990, together with her family, Irina moved to Zarinsk (Altai Territory).

Parents, who were musicians themselves, instilled in their daughters a love of art from childhood. However, unlike her sister Polina, who was not interested in musical creativity, four-year-old Ira discovered a talent for singing. At the age of 11, the young talent sang a song called "Dad, take me with you", specially written for her by her father. In the music studio of her father, the talented Ira recorded her first album "I want to be a star", a number of songs from which were written by the singer herself. Four years later, Irina first learned what real success is. At the age of 15, the rising star became the winner of the regional contest "Stars of the Province" held in the city of Ozerki, where she won first place.

Creation

Irina Ortman began her career at the Barnaul Musical College, and after graduation she continued her education at the Moscow College of Arts. Simultaneously with her studies at the school, the student performed at events in a restaurant with a repertoire specially prepared for her, and received a sea of applause, despite the fact that it was quite difficult to please the sophisticated audience.

Irina moved to Moscow in 1997. During this period, the future star began to receive proposals for cooperation one after another. At first, she worked at the Renata Ibragimov Pop Song Theater, and later became a member of the White Eagle group, well-known at that time. In parallel with her main work, Irina went through all kinds of auditions for musicals and groups.

2003 was one of the most successful years for the singer. Charming Ira reached the semifinals of the "New Wave" competition, which takes place in Jurmala. In the same year, Irina Ortman became a participant in the TV project "Star Factory-3". A friend Prokhor Shalyapin brought the young talent to audition for a popular TV show, and he was not mistaken. Irina did not become the winner of the project, but reached the final and together with Lesya Yaroslavskaya, Nastya Krainova and Masha Veber presented the Tutsi group and her solo song “Change”, which is still the singer's calling card. The popular four recorded two albums "Most-Most" and "Cappuccino", some of the songs of which became real hits. The group also released videos for the songs "I love him" (2005), "Bitter chocolate" (2005), "By itself" (2006), "One hundred candles" (2006). In this composition, the four toured not only around the country, but also abroad.

In 2005, Irina graduated from the Faculty of Music of the Institute of Contemporary Art, receiving a diploma in “Musical Variety Art. Pop-jazz singing.

Irina Ortman began her solo career in 2010, refusing to renew her contract with Tutsi producer Viktor Drobysh.

In the same period, a story about Irina was released in the documentary "Neighbors". The action took place in apartment buildings, densely populated by people with different fates and stories. Irina Ortman also told one of them. In a small excerpt, the singer spoke about the good attitude of her housemate in one of the towns near Moscow - Orekhovo-Zuevo.. It was in the first years of her life away from her home when Irina had just arrived to conquer the city from the provinces. Things didn’t go well at first, sometimes there was no money even for the subway and sometimes we had to go hungry. At such moments, neighbors came to the rescue. In the case of a neighbor, noticing that the girl did not leave the apartment, she brought her a plate of borscht. Moved Irina still remembers this story with warmth.

2012 was a year for Ortman to participate in an extreme TV show. She could be seen in the reality TV "Cruel Intentions". A little later, the girl became a member of the Great Races project.

In 2014, the singer released the first, and in fact, the second, if you count the album recorded in childhood, called "Plagiarism".

Since 2017, the name Ortman has also been known in the charitable environment. Irina began to take part in various charity-actions, including such events as “Let's Help Together”, “Let's Build a Temple Together”.

Personal life

Attractive Irina became the wife of businessman Dmitry Perevozchikov in 2008. The future spouses met in Nizhny Novgorod when the singer was in the city on tour. Irina did not have children in this relationship, and six years later the conjugal union broke up.

In the same year (2014), special services officer Roman Babkin appeared in the life of Irina Ortman, who immediately won the heart at that time of the TV presenter of the Voennoye Obozreniye program on the Moscow Doverie channel, and later became her husband. By the way, it was Roman who gave advice to Irina on firearms issues. Irina and Roman were officially married in the spring of 2016. For the celebration, the couple chose the Kutuzovsky registry office of the city of Moscow. The wedding was not noisy; Irina and Roman celebrated the creation of a new union with their closest people. The couple also has no children in this marriage yet, but Irina communicates with her daughter from her husband's previous relationship, Lilia.
