The future entrepreneur and Russian statesman was born in the Estonian city of Loksa on June 19, 1976. At one time, Maxim's parents moved to the Baltic republic from the Tula region to get a job at a shipbuilding enterprise.
Since 1998, Liksutov has been living in the capital of Russia. His family also settled here - parents, wife and children. Maxim Stanislavovich has a sister who lives in Tallinn.
Liksutov received his education at the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics. He graduated from the university in 2007 with a degree in Finance and Credit.
