Italian opera

As it is impossible to imagine Italy without opera, so it is impossible to imagine the musical world without Alessandro Safina. Everybody sings in Italy, but Safin's tenor is known all over the world and Russia is no exception. For the first time, Alessandro brought his show to Moscow in 2010, and since then he has repeatedly taken part in festivals and gave solo performances.

Alessandro's musical career was a foregone conclusion from childhood. His parents, although they themselves were far from music, passionately loved opera and instilled this love in their son. From the age of 7, the boy already began to study vocals, and at 17 he entered the prestigious Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, although the competition there was just crazy.

Safina studied brilliantly and played his first solo parts on the big stage while still a student. And the real popularity came to the singer after he became a finalist of the Katya Ricciarelli Music Competition. Safina was invited to the most famous music venues. Safina's lyric tenor could be heard in the famous operas The Barber of Seville, La Bohème, Eugene Onegin, Mermaid and other recognized masterpieces of classical music.

Classics and modernity

At the peak of his popularity, the singer decides to try a new musical genre. He wants to popularize classical music and begins to work in the direction of "pop opera". This is what Alessandro himself called his experiment. It combines academic vocals and contemporary music. His works combine opera, musicals, blues, modern rhythms. He begins to work with Romano Mazummaro, a producer, composer and musician very famous in Italy, and even records an album with him, which was presented in Paris.

The single “Luna” from this album became incredibly popular in the world. This was also facilitated by the fact that the song was featured in the Brazilian television series "Clone", which was successfully held in many countries. And Safina himself played a small role of a singer there. From this period the tenor's career began to rise. He has released eight albums in total, not counting individual singles. Safina sang a duet with actor Evan McGregor for the film "Moulin Rouge", recorded a joint song with Sarah Brightman.

At the same time, pleasant changes are taking place in the singer's personal life. In 2001, Safina married Italian actress Lorenza Mario, and a year later the couple had a son, Pietro. However, ten years later, the family fell apart, but Safina continues to take care of her son. And although the singer is an active user of social networks, he hides his personal life from prying eyes.
