Registration of children in the Russian state pension insurance system began in 2010. If before that only working citizens received an insurance certificate, now it can be obtained from birth.
It is necessary
- - original passport of one of the parents (or any other identity document);
- - the original of the child's birth certificate and its copy;
- - passport (if the child is 14).
Instructions
Step 1
The insurance certificate contains the insurance number of the individual personal account (SNILS), which records information about the social and medical services provided, and with the help of which the use of compulsory pension insurance funds is monitored for each person individually.
Step 2
To obtain an insurance certificate for a child, you need to contact the territorial body of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation at your place of residence. This can be done by one of the parents, guardians or caregivers of the child. Some schools and kindergartens provide assistance in issuing an insurance certificate on their own.
Step 3
Show your original passport (or any other proof of identity).
Step 4
Present the original and a copy of the child's birth certificate or his passport (from 14 years old).
Step 5
Fill in the insured person's questionnaire (based on the data of the child's birth certificate).
