Callum Eddie Graham Wilson is a famous English footballer playing as a striker. Since 2014 he has been playing for Bournemouth Football Club. Since 2018, he has been defending the colors of the England national team.
Biography
The future footballer was born in February 1992 on the twenty-seventh in the small English town of Coventry. Like most English boys, he loved to play football. He devoted almost all his free time to his favorite sport and dreamed of one day being in the place of David Beckham. He began his football career in his hometown, having successfully passed a screening at the Coventry City Academy.
Career
Several fruitful years at the club's academy have brought the expected results. In 2009, Callum signed his first professional contract with the club, and in August of the same year he made his debut for the main team. He took to the pitch in a league cup match against Hartpool United, which ended with a 0-1 defeat for Coventry in extra time.
Since 2011, he has played on loan for the semi-amateur club Kettering Town, and in seventeen matches he managed to score only one goal. The following season, Wilson moved to another little-known club, Tamworth. But even here he did not stay long. During his time at the club, Callum recorded only three matches and one goal scored.
In 2014, the scouts of the Bournemouth football club, which was playing in the championship at that time, looked at the promising striker. In the new team, despite the competition, Callum got used to it very quickly and took a place in the main team. In the same year, he achieved his first serious result. Together with Bournemouth, Wilson won the championship and received the right to play in the main tournament of England - the Premier League.
The following season, already in the Premier League, Callum Wilson scored three goals against London's West Hem and scored his first hat-trick in the Premier League. Two years later, in a match against the newcomer of the league "Huddersfield Town", Wilson repeated his achievement and again noted a hat-trick.
