Tom Wilson is an incredibly gifted actor. One gets the feeling that he succeeds in everything - working in films as an actor, writing books, painting, dubbing films, producing podcasts, performing in stand-up shows. He easily takes on any area of creative expression and copes with it brilliantly. In cinema, Wilson was assigned the role of a supporting actor, but, as you know, the world cinema knows many such masters who become the highlight of the picture. For two decades, Thomas has accumulated more than 50 outstanding works in film, television and live comedy shows. Of course, the actor also actively participates in other events (for example, entertainment shows, sharing the stage and screen with other celebrities, including Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Katie Lee Gifford).
However, this is not the end of Wilson's activities: he is also known as a writer in several literary magazines, as well as as an author of articles for Universal Studios, Disney, Fox, Film Roman Studios. It's amazing how, with such a busy schedule, Thomas also has enough time for his hobbies - painting and photography. Biography of Tom Wilson
Thomas Francis Wilson was born in 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his secondary education at the local Radnor High School. It was during this period that he became interested in dramatic art. However, this did not prevent the young man from entering the Arizona State University at the faculty of international politics. But the love of art still took its toll, so after graduating from higher education, Wilson went to the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts. It was in New York that he first rose to the big stage as a stand-up comedian.
Even then, it became clear to Wilson: in order to make a serious career in the film industry, you need to go straight to the Dream Factory, so in the early 1980s he moved to Los Angeles. Almost immediately, he began acting in major TV shows, including Knight Rider and The Facts of Life.
Tom Wilson is not one of those stars whose name constantly flashes in the yellow press thanks to numerous novels. Wilson is a monogamous and an exemplary family man. In 1985, he married his girlfriend Caroline, with whom he is still married. The couple have three daughters and a son. 1985 was a fateful year for Wilson, not only because of a happy marriage. It was then that he got his first big film role.
Film career
It was the acclaimed film "Back to the Future" (Back to the Future), where he brilliantly embodied the image of the tomboy and villain Biff Tannen. Ironically, Thomas himself in childhood was often ridiculed and even bullied by his peers, so he successfully used his personal experience in working on the role.
After the legendary science fiction comedy by Robert Zemeckis, proposals for filming fell in Thomas one after another. In the eighties, these were:

These films were not particularly popular and, in fact, were a kind of warm-up before the continuation of the sensational franchise: in 1989 and 1990, Wilson starred in parts 2 and 3 of Back to the Future. For his last work, the actor received the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Despite such a resounding success, the next decade turned out to be very calm for Wilson in terms of the development of his film career. In the 90s, he starred in several small films, and also worked on voice acting in films. In particular, he gifted his voice to Tony Zucco in Batman, Matt Wluestone in the TV series Gargoyles.
However, it was during this period that Wilson began to make notable success in television. He starred in the most popular American TV shows of those years - Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, Andersonville, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Duckman, Aaahh! Real Monsters, Fired Up, Pinky and the Brain, Men in White, Zoomate, Maggie, Angry Beavers and Hughleys. This gave Wilson invaluable experience in public relations and immense improvisation skills.

The 2000s continued for Wilson with multifaceted and varied work - from filming films and TV shows to dubbing and music.
