Blindness has always been one of the greatest fears of humanity. People who are deprived of sight remain in complete darkness alone with their fears, unable to see evil and fight it. The film "Insight" tells about a woman who will soon go blind, but before that she has to unravel several important secrets for her.

The film "Insight" was filmed by Spanish filmmakers in 2010. The script for it was written by the famous director Guillermo Morales, who created a gripping detective thriller with horror elements. In "Insight", Morales tried to bring together the absolutely polar worlds of seeing and blind people who have lost their sight as a result of congenital pathology or an accident.

Description of a movie worth watching
According to the plot of the film "Insight", the former astronomer Julia suffers from a progressive eye disease that threatens her with complete blindness. Once in the basement of the house, a woman finds the corpse of her twin sister Sarah, who decided to commit suicide, since she had already become blind from the same disease as Julia. However, blind and visually impaired people have a very heightened intuition - Julia feels that her sister was killed in cold blood, so she begins her own investigation, ignoring the resistance of the police and the lack of understanding of others.
In Morales's film, the eyes play one of the central roles - the director flirts with both the eyes of the protagonist and the audience's vision.
Having begun to investigate the murder of her sister on her own, Julia finds herself in the midst of a strange, confusing and even mystical story, which gradually opens her eyes to a series of mysterious events that led her to unravel the mystery. From time to time, a woman approaches a logical rationale for what is happening to her - however, her own perception of reality brings Julia down again, after which the nightmare resumes with renewed vigor.
The feeling of the picture is completed by the music written especially for "Insight" by the composer Fernando Velazquez, who created a special atmosphere with the help of melodic and romantic compositions. Many critics praised the soundtrack, which merged as harmoniously with the visuals of the film as possible and allowed the audience to fully enjoy the intense psychological overtones of "Insight".
