"A Thousand and One Nights" is a Turkish television series released in 2006, the entire series is not finished yet: it consists of 90 episodes, now viewers have the opportunity to watch 86 episodes.
The beginning of the story of a strong woman
Scheherazade, the main character of a television series named after a famous Arab storyteller, faced a tragedy - her husband died in a car accident and she was left alone with her little son Kaan..
The parents of the deceased husband did not accept Scheherazade into their family, and even she and her husband lived separately from each other, because the parents did not bless their marriage.
Having lost all support, Scheherazade is looking for a job and gets a job as an architect in a construction company. Her boss is Onur, a very serious and strict person who from the very beginning is skeptical about Scheherazade and her work. Scheherazade achieves extraordinary success - with her help Onura's company wins a grant to build a building in Dubai. There is no limit to Scheherazade's happiness: Onur begins to treat her differently, and she can afford to leave work earlier so as not to leave her son alone for a long time.
She did not inform her boss about the existence of her son, because it was the child who was the main reason that she was not hired for any of the previous vacancies. This hidden information played a cruel joke on her - the doctor informs her that her son has cancer and the operation costs 200 thousand dollars. Scheherazade has no such money.
The woman decides to seek help from the father of her deceased husband - he is a very rich man and can afford that kind of money. But he kicks out Scheherazade and says that he is not going to take the boy for his grandson.
Scheherazade is in a panic, the only option is to ask Onur for a loan. She asks for advice from her friend Bennu, who is trying to dissuade her friend from such an undertaking, because Onur is a very cruel person and may even fire Scheherazade for insolence. Onur listened carefully to her request and said that no one would be able to lend such money, especially on behalf of the company. But then an interesting idea comes to his mind. He noticed for a long time that he was attracted by something confident and talented Scheherazade, and he decides to test her for "venality". He says that he can give her money, but with one condition: Scheherazade will spend the night with him. The heroine is stunned by the rudeness and impudence of the boss, and runs out of the office, but a minute later she cools down and realizes that she has no other choice: she agrees to the proposal.
One night
Onur and Scheherazade spend the next night together. Onur gives her money, and the heroine pays for Kaan's treatment and finds happiness and lightness. Onur, on the other hand, is becoming more and more convinced of the venality, scantiness and baseness of women in the person of Scheherazade, he begins to find fault with every little thing in her work, punishes for every delay. Scheherazade feels very uncomfortable, but nevertheless decides to work at the firm further, because she must somehow give Onur the money for the operation. Onur understands that he himself is beginning to get used to Scheherazade more and more and fall in love with her, he is even ready to forgive her for how she received an impressive amount of money from him. And Scheherazade woke up in her soul when she thought about Onura.
Sweet truth
Some time passes, and Onur finds out what Scheherazade spent the money on and why she needed it. Warm feelings awaken in him, he asks for forgiveness and offers Scheherazade his hand and heart. But she cannot forgive Onur for the insult and humiliation brought. Onur declares to her that he will wait a thousand and one nights for her answer.
