Maria Kozhevnikova was born on November 14, 1984. According to the zodiac sign, Mary is a scorpio, which may explain her wayward and sometimes stubborn nature.

Childhood

Maria was born in Moscow. Her father, Alexander Kozhevnikov, is a professional hockey player, two-time Olympic champion and Honored Master of Sports of the USSR. From childhood, Masha's father served as a source of inspiration for her. Looking at him, she was also able to achieve some success in sports, becoming a master in rhythmic gymnastics. In addition to sports, little Masha was fond of poetry, dancing and outdoor games.

The beginning of a career path

After leaving school, Maria realized that she wanted to devote herself entirely to the acting profession. She entered the Russian Academy of Theater Arts. She combined her studies with work in the musical group "Love Stories". Since 2002, Maria can be seen on the TV screen in episodic roles in various domestic films. At first there was a minor role in the series "Rublyovka Live", after which there was a participation in the Russian-Ukrainian series "Wolf". This was followed by a number of other series, which never brought Maria Kozhevnikova the popularity she dreamed of.

University

The first recognition of TV viewers came to Maria with her participation in a sitcom about student life with the telling name "Univer", which was broadcast on TNT. In it, Kozhevnikova played the role of the charming blonde Allochka Grishko. Possessing a puppet appearance, the heroine of Maria Kozhevnikova does not shine with intelligence and is ready for anything for a beautiful life and money. The ratings of the series grew every day, and Maria Kozhevnikova overnight became the main sex symbol of the country. Despite the fact that it may seem that Allochka is the real Maria Kozhevnikova in life - so believably she managed to bring this image to life - the real Maria is completely different. She is used to achieving everything with her hard work. For the filming of this role, she had to work 12 hours every day. Maria still fondly recalls her participation in this series, which, in addition to good fees, brought her the love and recognition of the audience. However, after three years of filming in "Univer" Maria was so exhausted that she decided to leave the project by her own decision.
