Russian detective series about the fate of young intelligence officers who graduated from the KGB school. Oleg, Ivan, Lika and Katya are young, full of strength, hopes and ambitions. Many trials await them. The choice of a profession will affect their entire future life.
Plot
The action of the series "The Last Meeting" takes place in Moscow in the distant 80s and lasts 11 years. Two guys and two girls get to know each other. Oleg Sukhanov, Ivan Shilov, Lika Barysheva and Katya Yanina study together at the KGB special school. Under the guidance of operative Leshchinsky, the guys comprehend the complex science of intelligence. Personal relationships also develop between them. Both Ivan and Oleg are in love with Lika. The girl herself does not think about personal things, but dreams of becoming a real scout.
Gradually, Leshchinsky's "four" becomes the best on the course. The guys argue among themselves about the methods acceptable in their work, about honor, about professionalism. Oleg believes that all means are good. Flaunting, he pulls out the sleeping man's wallet. Honest Ivan intervenes, but suspicion falls on him, as the ill-fated wallet is seen in his hands. Ivan ends up in the police.

After graduation, the guys leave, now they have to independently carry out their difficult mission. Lika Barysheva will have an internship to work abroad, the guys will stay at home. Their relationship, based on friendship, love and even hate, has been tested over the years. Fate constantly pits Ivan and Oleg, they are eternal rivals.
If Ivan's feeling is romantic, then Oleg sees in her only the daughter of a KGB general.
For the benefit of Oleg marries Katya, now they work in pairs. They have to fulfill a responsible assignment in Belgrade. Oleg often cheats on Katya. Lika works in Malta. Ivan Shilov goes to jail on false charges. In 1991 he was released. Deciding to restore his officer rank, he again confronts Oleg Sukhanov, now a lieutenant colonel of the KGB.
