Variety performers in Soviet times performed a noble function. The main task set before them by the Party and the Government is to instill in Soviet people a taste for genuine art, to educate a Man with a capital letter to respect himself and his compatriots. Nina Ilyinichna Dorda, a talented singer and charming woman, not only sang songs that were similar in content to people building a new society, but was also an example of style in behavior and taste in clothing.
Our Soviet youth
Art must be accepted by the people, it was this formulation that underlay all programs and projects aimed at raising the cultural level of Soviet citizens. Nina Ilyinichna Dorda was born in 1924. The family lived in Moscow. Father worked as an agronomist at the Timiryazev Academy, mother as a laboratory assistant. From an early age, parents raised their daughter in Russian folk traditions. This means not to offend the weak, respect the old, not show off and observe the measure of consumption. Love for her native country ran through all the singer's work as a red thread.
The child showed the ability to sing from an early age. When Nina turned thirteen, her father brought her to a music school at the Moscow Conservatory. It can be said with good reason that the work on the faceting of the talent began precisely from that moment. The girl received a fundamental education in vocal and solfeggio. And that was enough to "make" a great career. The outbreak of war disrupted plans and brought people a lot of suffering. My father went to the front and died. Nina, her sister and mother had to be evacuated to Saratov.
After the Victory, the family returned to their permanent place of residence. Dorda, as a prepared and promising performer of pop songs, was immediately admitted to the Palace of Culture of railway workers. She began to sing in the orchestra, led by the famous Dmitry Pokrass, who once wrote a march for the legendary Cavalry Army of Budyonny. A young singer, full of strength and desires, worked, as they say, tirelessly. On Saturday evenings she was invited to perform at the fashionable Moscow restaurant. And these evenings brought a good addition to the family budget.
Through the expanses of the native land
The singer's biography was written along with the implementation of the plans of the party and the people. The country intensively, at a high rate healed the wounds inflicted by the war. Nina was invited to work at the All-Union Touring and Concert Association. To say that she “traveled all over the country” is to say nothing. While touring the Soviet Union, the performer of popular songs saw how the people live and how they strive to change this life for the better. The beloved singer was warmly greeted in Magadan and Minsk, in Siberian Surgut and on the virgin lands in Kazakhstan.
It's time to tell about the personal life of Nina Dorda. While still working in a metropolitan restaurant, she met Mikhail Lipsky, a virtuoso pianist. Not to say that love rushed quickly and blinded young people. Neither more nor less - for five years the future husband and wife looked closely at one another. And when feelings passed the test of time, they legalized their relationship. It should be added that by this time the young had their own housing. Serious people approach the creation of a social unit thoroughly.
Talented people have lived in joint work for more than 30 years. However, fate presented Nina with another difficult test - her husband fell seriously ill and was bedridden for several years. In the 80s of the last century, the pop singer stopped her performances. New talents came to the stage and other motives sounded. This is how worldly glory passes. This is how life goes on.
